The names of Muhammad were written in "Jalee Ta'liq" Islamic calligraphy style. The bodies of the texts were made from gold. In the first work, on the left of the name you see a respect & praying statement which is read as "Sallallaahu Alaihi Wa Sallam" (shortly saaw) & means "Blessings & peace of Allah be upon Him."
You see the backgrounds with a rose, why? Because the rose has a special significance in the Islamic literature: Especially in Turkish Islamic Literature & Arts, the rose represents prophet Muhammad & that is symbol of Him.
At the lower part of the work you see a verse from The Holy Quran which explains why Muhammad (saaw) was sent as a messenger of Allah: "We have only sent you as a mercy for all worlds." (The Holy Quran 21:107)
We had made these works in memory of the birthday of the last prophet Muhammad. He was born on 20 April 571 at the night of Monday (12 of Rabi-ul-awwal in Islamic calendar). This birth was like a rise of sun upon the humanity. He was sent as the last prophet after Jesus (peace be upon him) by the Lord of the worlds Allah (God). He was Allah's mercy for the humanity to show them the right path for their happiness both in this life of the world & in the hereafter. Yes, He was a mercy for the humanity because believing the principles He brought & thought, was giving the humanity the chance to find the right belief which their Creator (Allah) approves & the right attitudes which enable them to live with each other in happiness, peace & affection without having to have bad experiences. He brought the last message of Allah to the humanity as a guide book.
By this means, we would like to tell you the first comment of the book He brought in the page order. Since it is a message sent for the mankind, the first comment of The Holy Quran in the page order is especially for the whole mankind: "O MANKIND! Worship your Lord, who had created you & those before you, so that you may protect yourselves. Who had appointed the earth a resting-place for you, the sky a capony & caused water to pour down from the sky, thereby producing fruits as a food for you & do not set up rivals to Allah, while you know better..." (The Holy Quran 2:21-22)

This is the first work of the "Hasbunallah" series. Here you see only "Allah is sufficient for us!" part of the phrase above. The words are from white wood, the ground is from agate stone. We have made this work in different brightness & textures.
This is the 3D version of our work "Hoo" that you can see on the page 2D Hand Drawn Graphics. The texture of the word is turquoise. Here you see the Arabic form of the pronoun "He". It is read as "Hoo." In Islamic literature, especially in Sufism, this word has a great significance. Because when the word "Hoo" is said "The Lord Of the Worlds Allah" is remembered. This is because in many verses of The Holy Quran, Allah talks about himself by using the word "Hoo."

On this work the text is from gold. The background is blue marbled paper. The marbling is one of the famous Turkish-Islamic arts which is more than 500 years old. In Turkey this art has been continued with Islamic calligraphy since the Osman by a master & apprentice relationship. This art is called & written as "Ebru" in Turkish, it is also known as "Turkish paper". Briefly, in this art all kinds of natural dying material which is not fading in light, not containing acids & not soluble in water are used. Using special tools & techniques, various "Ebru" designs drawn onto water, later that design transferred onto paper. There is different "Ebru" kinds & "Ebru" works are used as pictures for decoration at homes, as background or corner adornment for Islamic calligraphy works & inner part of book covers.
