Hazrat Syed Abul Hasnaat Muhammad Ahmed Qadri (alaihir rahmah) - Daata Darbaar
Syed Abul Hasnat Muhammad Ahmed Qadri is the preacher of Masjid Wazir Khan, Lahore. was the eldest son of the famous religious scholar of Maulana Syed Deedar Ali Shah Alwari.
Syed Abul Hasnat Muhammad Ahmed Qadri was born in 1314 AH/1896 CE in the locality of Nawabpura in the state of Alwar, India.
Education:
He memorized the Holy Quran from Hafiz Abdul Hakim & Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor. During this time, he started his initial education in Urdu & Persian from Mirza Mubarak Baig & practiced Tajweed from Jagat Ustaad Qari Qadir Bakhsh. At the age of eleven or twelve, along with memorizing the Holy Quran, he also mastered Urdu Insha & acquired some proficiency in Persian. Then he received education in all sciences & arts from his father Majid. He studied & completed Dars-e-Nizami & Ulum Maruja from his father Majid & Sadr-ul-Afzal Allama Syed Naeemuddin Muradabadi. He was a Hafiz of the Holy Quran & an excellent reciter. He studied medicine from Nawab Hamiuddin Muradabadi. He was also passionate about poetry & literature. During this time, he learned machine building, dying, carpentry, watchmaking, tailoring & telephone work. He studied medicine from Hakim Nawab Hamiuddin in Muradabad. He swore allegiance to Maulana Shah Ali Hussain Kachuchvi & was granted the Caliphate & permission.
Political activities:
He worked for the Muslim League in the Pakistan Movement. After the partition, he formed Jamiat Ulema Pakistan. In 1952, he was the president of the Majlis-e-Amal that was formed in connection with the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Movement. He was jailed for a year. The All India Sunni Conference worked with such dedication & sacrifice in the Pakistan Movement. After the establishment of Pakistan, there was a need for such an all-encompassing organization that could organize the Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat & also provide guidance in national & international issues. During the Ghazali era, on the initiative of Hazrat Allama Syed Ahmed Saeed Kazmi, a meeting was held in Anwar-ul-Uloom, Multan on 26, 27, 28 March 1978, in which Ulema Mashaikhs from all over Pakistan participated. After the formation of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan, Hazrat Allama Abu Al-Hasanat was elected as the president & Hazrat Allama Kazmi was elected as the chief Nazim. According to the unanimous decision of Jamiat-ul-Ulema Pakistan & Jamiat-ul-Mashiakh, Shariat Day was observed across Pakistan on Friday, May 7, 1948. Meetings were held, telegrams were sent to the Quaid-e-Azam & Islamic journals & the government was urged to implement Islamic law in Pakistan. The Mujahideen of Islam were demonstrating their sacrifice on the Kashmiri front to achieve the right to self-determination. Maududi Sahib did not recognize this war as jihad. Hazrat Allama Abu al-Hasanat (may Allah have mercy on him) issued a fatwa that this war was jihad in the way of Allah & Muslims should help the Mujahideen in every possible way.
Masjid Wazir Khan:
When Imam Muhadditheen Maulana Syed Deedar Ali Shah was disappointed with the sermon of Masjid Wazir Khan, Sir Zafar Ali, retired High Court Judge & trustee of Masjid Wazir Khan, with great insistence, entrusted the post of sermon to Maulana Abu Al-Hasanat. Thus, Maulana travelled from Alwar to Lahore & remained in Lahore forever. He participated in every religious & national movement that arose from Lahore with distinction. In Alwar, he was the president of Anjuman Khadim-ul-Islam & the head mufti of the fatwa committee. A Bazm organization was established in Masjid Wazir Khan, of which he was made the president. Under the auspices of the compilation department of this organization, he wrote & published 35 tracts. He was appointed as the Ameer of Anjuman Hizb-ul-Ahnaf, Lahore & rendered invaluable services.
Death:
He died on 2 Shaban, 1380 AH, corresponding to 1961 & was buried in the grounds of the Data Ganj Bakhsh mausoleum.

Tafseer-ul-Hasanat
It consists of six thick volumes. It has been interpreted according to the number of ruku's. First, the verses have been translated into simple Urdu. Then, the difficult words have been researched & after that, a detailed interpretation of all the verses has been given. Valuable information has also been provided about the script of the Quranic words. This commentary, along with the interpretation of the Holy Quran, also provides the scientific background & historical surroundings of the Holy Quran. Along with the interpretation of the verse, it is also explained that the revelation of the Quran created revolutions in the religious level as well as in the scientific & cultural life.
