HIS POSITION IN THE SILSILA: Qudwat-ul-Auliyah, Hazrat Sheikh Muhammad Abul Farah Tartoosi (radi Allahu anhu) is the fourteenth Imam & Peer-e-Tariqat of the Silsila Aaliyah Qaadiriyah Barakaatiyah Razviyah Nooriyah. He is a Wali-e-Kaamil & a very knowledgeable Aalim & Faadhil. He was blessed with both academic & spiritual knowledge. He was also a very great Saahib-e-Karaamat. He was very exalted & also very pious & patient. The Ulama & Masha'ikh in his time referred to him as the The Greatest Saint of the Time. He was an embodiment of various splendours. He guided the servants of Allah, following in the footsteps of his Peer. (Shijrat-ul-Kaamileen pg 297)
BIRTH: Incidents & dates relating to his birth cannot be located.
NAME: His name is Muhammad Yusuf & he was also known as Abdul Farah. (Masaalik-us-Saalikeen)
FATHER: His father's name was Sheikh Abdullah Tartoosi (radi Allahu anhu)
SHEIKH-E-TARIQAT: He is amongst the exalted mureeds & the Khalifa of Hazrat Abdul Waahid Tameemi (radi Allahu anhu). (Masaalik-us-Saalikeen)
TARTOOSI: He was known as Tartoosi because he lived in a city called Tartoos. He blessed this city & it became a place of great blessings & place of great respect due to him.
WISAAL: He passed away on Saturday, the 3rd of Shaban 447 Hijri during the reign of Khalifa Qaaim bi Amrillah Abbasi in Tartoos. (Anwaar-e-Sufiyah pg 119)
MUREEDS & KHULAFA: Only the name of one of his Khalifas has appeared in the books of history & that is the name of Sheikh Abul Hassan Ali Hakaari (radi Allahu anhu).
MAZAAR SHAREEF: His Mazaar Shareef is in Tartoos & is visited by many who wish to attain his blessings.
