There are certain Islamic Terms which you should remember and which will assist you to understand facts better. These terms are:
- ADAA-E-SALAAT: To perform Salaat in it's correct time.
- QADA: To perform Salaat after it's appointed time has passed.
- JAMAAT SALAAT: To perform Salaat with the congregation.
- IMAAM: One who leads the Salaat or congregation.
- MUQTADI: One who follows the Imaam.
- MUDRIK: One who follows the Imaam from the start to the finish of a Salaat.
- MASBOOK: One who joins the Jamaat anytime after the first Ruku.
- LAAHIQ: One who joins the Salaat from the beginning and then misses one or more Rakaat while in Salaat.
- MUNFARID: One who reads the Salaat alone.
