Sayyiduna Abu-Ayyub al-Ansari (radi Allahu anhu) reported that a man said: "O Allah's Apostle (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)! Inform me of a deed, which will make me enter Paradise." The people said: "What is the matter with him? What is the matter with him?" Allah's Apostle (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: "He has something to ask." The Holy Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said to him: "In order to enter Paradise you should worship Allah & join none in worship with Him; you should make prayers perfectly, give obligatory charity & keep good relations with your kith & kin." (Bukhari)
Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut'im (radi Allahu anhu) reported that he heard Allah's Apostle (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) saying: "The person who severs the bond of kinship will not enter Paradise." (Bukhari)
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (radi Allahu anhu) reported that he heard Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) saying: "Whoever is pleased that he be granted more wealth & that his lease of life be prolonged then he should keep good relations with his kith & kin." (Bukhari)
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said: "Allah created the creations & when He finished from His creations, Ar-Rahm (womb) said, "O Allah! At this place I seek refuge with you from all those who sever me (i.e. sever the ties of kith & kin)." Allah said, "Yes, won't you be pleased that I will keep good relations with the one who will keep good relations with you & I will sever the relation with the one who will sever the relations with you." It said, "Yes, O my Lord!" Allah said, "Then that is for you." Allah's Apostle (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) added, "Read (in the Quraan) if you wish, the statement of Allah, "Would you then, if you were given the authority, do mischief in the land & sever your ties of kinship?" (47:22) (Bukhari)
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (radi Allahu anhu) reported that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) kissed Sayyiduna Hassan bin Ali (alaihis salaam) while Sayyiduna al-Aqra' bin Habis at-Tamimi (radi Allahu anhu) was sitting beside him. Sayyiduna Al-Aqra' (radi Allahu anhu) said: "I have ten children & I have never kissed anyone of them." Allah's Apostle (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) cast a look at him & said: "Whoever is not merciful to others will not be treated mercifully." (Bukhari)
