All the great historians have written that he spent his entire days keeping fast & his nights in the Ibaadat of Almighty Allah & he used to only eat after every three days. Between Esha Salaah & Tahajjud Salaah, he used to complete two recitations of the Quran Shareef. The Author of Anwaar-e-Sufiyah says that he used to complete the Quran ten times, by the time he completed his Tahajjud Salaah. (Masaalik-us-Saalikeen vol. 1 pg 328 - Anwaar-e-Sufiyah pg. 121). He followed the command of Allah to travel the world & travelled a lot. He presented himself in the khidmat of great Ulama & Masha'ikh during his journeys. (Anwaar-e-Sufiyah pg. 120). Once someone asked him if he was Sheikh-ul-Islam & he answered by saying, "I have become old in the Deen & from my descendants & children there will be a group that will be presented before Kings. There status will be very great & some of them shall be wealthy & the rest of them, not so wealthy." This was something that he foretold & had come into reality. His son Sheikh Zaahir (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho) was a very pious person & was a great master in Hakaar. His grandson Sheikh Moosa (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho) left Hakaar & went to Seetaan where the servants of Allah attained great benefits from him. The people there were displeased with their leader & thus removed him & appointed Sheikh Abu Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho) in his place. When Sultan Abu Ali (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho) saw that his son Sheikh Rasheeduddin was of age to control his empire, he handed the control over to his son & went into seclusion to make the Zikr of Almighty Allah. It was in this time, that Hazrat Sayyid Ahmad Tawakhta Tirmizi (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho) journeyed with his family to Kech Makraan where Sheikh Rasheeduddin (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho) was the Sultan. He then married his son Shahzada Bahauddin to Bibi Haaj, the daughter of Sayyid Ahmed Tawakhta Tirmizi (Radi Allahu Ta'ala Anho). They were blessed with three sons, namely, Shahzada Jamaluddin, Shahzada Ziauddin & Sultan-e-Taarikeen Sheikh Hameeduddin Haakim (rehmatullah alaih). Later, Sheikh Bahauddin was appointed as the Sultan who inturn passed the kingdom over to his brother Sheikh Shahabuddin Abul Baqaa & left his two young sons Sheikh Haakim & Sheikh Runuddin Haatim in his care. He then took both of his elder sons, with him for Hajj. On his return from Haramain Sharifain, he passed away in Yemen Saaliha. Both his elder sons, Sheikh Jamaaluddin & Sheikh Ziauddin, were not comfortable with leaving the place where there father had passed away. Their descendants are thus found in Yemen Saaliha.
