Abu Musa Al-Ashaari (Radiyallahu anhu) narrates

that Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:

Undoubtedly

reverence to Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala

includes

honouring a grey haired Muslim;

& also the one who has memorized the Quran

& he neither exceeds the proper bounds

& nor does he turn away from it;

& honouring a just ruler.

Hudaifah (Radiyallahu anhu) narrates

that Rasullullah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam said:

Do not imitate others & start saying

if others treat us well,

we will treat them well,

& if they do wrong to us,

we will do wrong to them;

but accustom yourself to do good

if people do good,

& not to do wrong

if they do wrong.

Vinegar is the best curry

Abdullah ibn-e-Ubaid ibn-e-Umair (Rehmatullah) said

that Jabir (Radiyallahu anhu) came to me

with a group of the Sahabah of

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).

Jabir (Radiyallahu anhu) placed before them bread, vinegar & said:

Eat, I have heard from Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) saying:

Vinegar is the best curry.

Verily a man is ruined, when some brothers come to his house

& he considers it low to place before them

things that he has in his house;

& ruined are those people

who consider low that is being placed before them.

In another narration it is stated

that it is evil enough for a person that he may consider low

what is presented to him.

He who asks forgiveness

ALLAH Subhanahu wa ta'ala,

writes for him a virtue (hasana)

for every Mu'min man & Mu'min woman.
